  1. Debde

    Fits my hand nicely
This is pretty sturdy but for you purists it is a plastic handle. Seems to be attached very well but time will tell. I only need it for a few small wood skimming projects and the price is perfect for that. Nice and smooth so finish details are good. Not a stamped out cheap knock off. Nice and sharp so easily took out door jamb wood to put in new strike plate.

  2. Alison Lynch

    Works as intended.
    Good quality. Works well.

  3. Bucyrusboy

    Well made for the price
Used to chisel out some rotted wood. Hammered on it some and it’s held up. Blade reasonably sharp.

  4. Frankie P

    Good for the money
Product came on time, handle is a little larger than I prefer but does its job fine. Could be sharper out of package but no biggie

    As good as expected
For a $3 chisel you can’t ask for more. Its not sharp out of the box and it doesn’t hold an edge for a lengthy amount of time. Most chisels aren’t sharp out of the box, you need to spend some time flattening the back and sharpening them. That’s just how it is and this chisel is no different. Get some sandpaper, sharpening stones, or diamond stones and you can turn this in to a razor which could shave your beard. Very happy with this and I’ll be using it to make my own wooden shoulder plane. I expect it will perform very well.

WORKPRO W043007 Wood Chisel, 1 In. Wide Blade, Chrome-Vanadium Steel Construction
The 1″ chisel is good quality, sharp and chisels well. Durability only time will tell.

    Great tool!
I recently bought a new home and replaced the front and rear door knobs. The size and shape of cutouts was different. I purchased this chisel to expand the size and slightly deepen the shape. It was sharp enough to give a clean, precise, shallow cut. The low cost made the purchase feel even better!

Has to be sharpened before use
I bought a 1/2 inch Workpro chisel for my DIY project before I got the one with 1 1/2 inch blade. The 1/2 inch was sharp and well made, so I decided to also get the 1 1/2 inches. But this one was a disappointment. Right out of the box, I could see small teeth along the edge like a saw! When I tried it to get rid of old paint on the basement stairs, a tiny piece of blade corner was broken off.I knew I could resharpen it, but why should I do that for a brand new chisel? I expected to use it right out of the box. It went back to the seller.
