Very Strong Magnet!
I am very pleased with this magnet! Powerful, very easy to use and handle works the way it should! It took me a minute to figure out that I needed to put a plastic grocery bag over the magnet before I used it, which makes clearing off the magnet much easier!

Not for a Big Job.
Magnet – I was expecting a solid magnet. As you can see with the pictures, itâs a donut shape. I just had roof replaced so wanted to get any left over nails and especially the staples before mowing or allowing bare feet back in my yard. Yeah, I knowâ¦probably not what this was meant for, but didnât want to spend big bucks for a one time project. The magnet is strong and will grab onto whatever metal you pass over.Glove – It comes with a glove to protect your hand when removing metal objects, but as you can see in the pictures, thereâs a gap between the magnet and the housing and it fills up with any tiny pieces. You canât grab little things like that with the glove. Also harder to get smaller objects that end up in the center, otherwise, the glove is a nice touch and does make it easier to clear off a bunch of big nails and screws.Telescoping Handle – The telescoping handle is flimsy and when I swept it along the grass, it would push in and shorten so Iâd have to lengthen it again. It was even worse when trying to find nails in the ground cover. Every push into the foliage also pushed in the telescopic handle.If youâre using it to pick up a couple nails you dropped while working in your shop, I think it would be fine.
