Good Tool
I got this to reglaze 10 multi pane windows. Glazing was really old so it was a lot of work. I have several types of tools I purchased but this turned out to be the go-to tool. Sturdy blade and comfortable grip. I mainly used the flat blade side but did use the angle side for final clean up.After removing the almost 100 individual panes of glass, tool remained sharp and ready for the reinstall. Great quality and I expect will hold up longer than I will. Definitely worth the cost. If you reglazing windows, this is a good choice for the tool box.

Gets the right angle every time!
I’m restoring the original wood windows in my 1925 bungalow. This dual-purpose window tool was precisely what I needed to reglaze the glass panes into the window frames. The sturdy handle and flat blade allow me to get the right angle every time. The V-shaped end takes care of all the clean-up, which makes the job easier. This is an essential tool in my bag!

Sturdy and useful
I bought this tool to deglaze my 1942 windows. I used it for everything from cleaning to peeling to scraping paint. Very handy tool

The tool for the job
The flat side worked better than the v side. Maybe just the user. With old glaze still attached to windows you will use the flat side and make due. I imagine the v side would be perfect if starting with a window with no existing glaze to get in the way. Could use a 2 inch putty knife with more ease in pressing glaze into place. This is a one purpose tool

Impulse purchase turned must have purchase
Bought on a whim with the Red Devil glazing compound in the tubes. This tool has quickly become a permanent staple on my belt for window repair. Makes the job so much easier, it has just the right angle/pressure in just the right spaces.

Great for putting putty in old sash windows. I had to look up how to use both ends properly but makes it a bit easier than a regular putty knife. Bonus it Iâve used flat end to scrape up loose paint chips without gouging wood.

I am re-glazing about ten one hundred year old window sashes. This tool works perfectly for ripping out the old glazing( along with the heat gun) and the opposite end really made much shorter work of applying the new glaze. Once you find your rhythm with it, you can really move along quick.
