Easily in my top 2 favorite strippers I’ve ever used
In my top 2 favorite strippers out of the many I’ve used every day for the last 12 years – especially doing residential work. Very good quality, as is anything with the “Rack-A-Tiers” name on it. The 14/2 and 12/2 romex stripping capabilities are nice – eliminates stripping with a razor knife for the most part. Am planning on also ordering the “V-Cutter” attachment for them also. Would recommend to anyone, especially a residential electrician

    Best strippers on the market!
Hands down the best strippers, I won’t touch any other brand or style these are my go to’s 16 years and counting. Excellent job product!

    Possible deal breaker.
I love everything about this product except for the locking mechanism to keep the pliers closed. They are constantly coming open in my tool pouch whenever another item touches it. I think if I file the end off I can get it to work like I want them to. That is literally my one complaint. I work as an electrician and it’s great for devicing since it can strip phone wires, has a crimper, and – as many have already said – the romex stripper actually does work for both 14-2 and 12-2 wire. They also feel great in your hand with the concave handles. The weak locking mechanism may not bother most people, but I can’t stand it anymore. If I can fix it, they’ll go back to being my favorite pair. Other than that i would give it 5/5 stars.

    My go to strippers!
These do everything quality wire stripper should do. But with these do that others don’t is in between the pliers and the first cutter. There is a small section that is flat and comes completely together when closed that is able to grab even the smallest hairiest strings in communication cable to cut the sheathing. The v-cutters are a nice bonus.I used Klein for years, and when I initially went to these, I did not like the way they felt in my hand, but after using them for a while now the Kleins feel weird to me.
