Perfect for push tabs on connectors
I may never damage another electrical connector, or stab myself with a flat bladed screwdriver, ever again! I saw some dubious reviews about the build quality – this is a sealed, carded well made pair of pliers. I’m glad I took the leap and purchased them. My first use was disconnecting the connectors on a car door driver window control switch. Worked perfectly. If you work on cars, even occasionally, and can afford them, these should be in your toolbox.

    Great pliers
These pliers make it easier to unclip connectors. Price is a little high, catch them on sale. Easy to use, very good tool.

I use it for few time times. It worth every single pennies.

Great plers for reaching a stubborn connector in a diificult to reach spot.
I have to disconnect a stubborn O2 sensor connector in a very tight spot, which is usually the case. The hardest-to-remove bolt or connector is always the toughest to reach. It is the only thing still holding my GT500 wiring harness in place. Once released, I can put my complicated new harness on. A dealer screwed it up and left me with the mess! Luckily I am a better mechanic than the dealer. I had to do it without any instructions even though I have all the manuals. They don’t expect people to replace complicated harnesses themselves.

    Excellent Tool
I already have a plug disconnect tool but ordered this one just for the half moon jaw. My old tool has both ends to press which is handy if you want to flip it around for access, this is important. However most connectors are rounded a bit, smooth and plastic. This makes my old too not effective on the grabbing and HOLDING. It slips. But, this one with the grabbing jaw it really holds tight to the connector no matter what shape it has. Very very effective. It may not pull a stuck connector all he way out, a screw driver will help, but it will disconnect it for sure. Only one issue, you have to have the access and right angle to grab the connector. If the space is limited and the connector is sitting offside it will be difficult.

    Get the straight ones too
These are awesome pliers, they work on a variety of connectors, but don’t just buy the straight or the angled. You really need both if you don’t want to be limited by the angle of attack. Little bit of jaw slop, but I didn’t deduct any stars for that since jaw slop doesn’t matter much with this kind of tool. I’d buy them again in a heartbeat if I lost them.

These special automotive connector pliers are an absolutely must have regardless if you’re a professional or home garage DYI!These were also incredible hard to find locally. Not available on the Snap-On truck as they were back ordered for MONTHS! Another local tooling store only toy store called KMS Tools wouldn’t comment if they could bring these in at all.And I ordered these a Friday night and got them Saturday morning. Insanse! Great Experience!!!
