Dependable and durable
The precision-machined stripping holes allow for accurate removal of insulation from wires of various gauges, ensuring clean and consistent results every time. The built-in cutter is another valuable feature of this tool, allowing for quick and efficient trimming of wires to the desired length. The hardened steel construction of the cutter ensures durability and longevity, even when cutting through tough materials like copper and aluminum.

Worth it
I’ve never been disappointed with Klein Tools equipment or the value they offer. To the weekend warrior these probably seem expensive, but I’ve used enough of the cheap strippers to know how badly that can go if you use them for daily use. I was skeptical of the “Klein Kurve” until I used a tool with it. I think it feels more comfortable in my hand and gives me better control. I’m right-handed, but I believe the curve works to your advantage regardless of which hand you use it in.If you hold it in your right hand, the markings are a bit easier to see (they appear to be laser etched) and if you hold it in your left hand the markings are stamped into the surface, but have the same finish as the rest of the tool, which appears to be a heavy duty black nitride. After you use this kind of tool for a while though, you don’t pay much attention to the markings on it.The thick stamped steel frame is more rugged than the dime store design you might have used before. I use it for only copper as they were designed, and I haven’t had any problem with dulling or alignment. The rubberized handle feels good in your hands even after hours of use. Its easy to operate with one hand even though it’s not spring loaded because it opens easily with one finger, and there is a stop built in to keep it from opening beyond your hands’ reach.I like the fact that I can press scotchlok connectors with these without having to switch to another tool. They’re not 100% ideal for scotchloks (like any combination tool) because you have to press them from the back, but I don’t work with them much anymore, and would rather not have to carry a separate tool for them.

Good enough — most of the time
This is the stripper-crimper I keep as a backup to my more advanced tools, and the one I usually lend to my Ham Radio buddies. Klein Tools makes great products, and this one is no exception; but Klein actually makes far more sophisticated strippers and crimpers that, while larger and a bit more expensive, do a much better job at their respective tasks. This one is “good enough” for assembling a beginners’s electrical tool bag, and I recommend it for role; even if you upgrade later, keep it handy as a spare, or for minor repairs in the field.

Great strippers
Iâve predominantly used Klein strippers, theyâve always performed great for me I had the previous iteration of this one and this one itâs like it and better. Blades cut through wire great, they are light in your hand, no wiggle to the heads and not having the locking mechanism makes it faster and easier to use. Recommend these for either a go tool bag, main bag or a pocket set, work for any of you have another stripper.

Works well and is sharp
I’ve been sitting a bunch of small gauge wires for a pinball restoration and I had another version of this that only handled the smaller gauges and was also not as substantial as this tool.I’m only regretting that I didn’t buy this version earlier, the ergonomics are better and because it’s not hefty, the stripping process works very smooth. If you are thinking about the smaller red handled version of this, get this, this had a brooder range and if you you don’t need the very smallest gauge this one will be the better choice.

Nice and sharp. I’m a construction electrician and I use these strippers daily for low and ultra low voltage, they work fantastic. Not stiff, made of good materials, very versatile for a variety of jobs. Would reccomend to anyone
