    ABSOLUTELY GREAT PRODUCT
We are having a new roof installed and old nails everywhere! The installer went over our driveways and paths with their own magnet catcher and after they had left, I tried this item and it caught many nails and pieces of metal. Very easy to use. Very powerful and the nails clearly snap onto the magnet. Over the grass areas, I gently hovered 3″ above the grass, as I went along and it grabbed many old nails. On the pathways, it was powerful enough to snap up nails laying inside the paving joints. very satisfying! We have very large driveways and after a while, one of the wheels had slightly over-tightened itself and was dragging. I simply rotated the item 180 degrees (so the left wheel was now on the right), so the tight wheel was being reversed and all was well. I absolutely recommend this item.

Picks up nails after siding project!!!
This thing did a great job picking up nails after I removed the siding. My kids found over 200 nails today and had fun doing it. It’s not going to last forever, but it’s easy to use and is going to last at least until the siding project is done. Worth every penny to keep from getting a nail in the foot and a trip to the ER.

    Excellent Magnet, weak handle connection
I used this to find & pickup nails in my yard after my house was resided. My contractor had done a pass over, but I just wanted to be sure I removed them all.It did an excellent job and I found many nails that were missed. However the bolt that connects the aluminum pole to the magnet twisted off before I was able to finish. Good magnet, and easy to use, but a poor connection.

    Worked great
I recently had a new roof installed and the roofers used a similar roller to picked up nails in the grass from the the shingles removed. Later I noticed roof nails in the grass around the house and decided I needed a similar magnet sweeper to pick up nails. This magnet sweeper is awesome, it has picked up so many nails in the grass the roofers missed. I am impressed!

    Needs improvements
The magnet is strong and works great however the handle isn’t very sturdy and broke off at the connection point after a few uses of rolling through my grass yard. I’m sure my son can make me a new handle that is sturdy enough. All in all the magnet itself is well worth the price.

    Does a decent job
Once I put the handle in the CORRECT way (from the top side and not from the bottom side), it did a decent job and was not wobbly. It got a little [RC helicopter] washer and screw off the floor. I took the wheels off and went outside and did the back yard. It picked up a bunch of stuff (but not the heli part I was searching for). I put the wheels back on and re-did the yard…no more stuff came up. But…the wheels started getting loose: they had some locktite on them, and I put some Duco Cement in its place…and the wheels are staying put. They cannot be tightened down completely or they freeze. Tighten and then back off about 1/4 turn and all should be well.

Broke in less than an hour- magnet is great, handle is terrible
Assembly was easy, the plastic hand has a metal tip which screwed into the magnet with wheels. The magnet worked well, in the first 45 minutes of use, it picked up over 20 nails, many staples, and other shards of metal left behind in my driveway and lawn by roofers who said they had cleaned up. So maybe this saved me a flat tire. But at 45 minutes, the plastic snapped. If you look closely, the metal that was in the plastic handle is now lodged in screw-in section of the magnet piece. Don’t waste your money.

Better price than renting. (In my location)
I was able to pick up somewhere around 80 nails after a 3 year period from when our new roof was shingled. Most nails were in the perimeter of the outside foundation. The magnetic strength worked fine. I was surprised how many nails were left behind after the roofer had done his sweep. I wish I had ordered and did right after the job as nails get buried under yard debris and much harder to retrieve. I thought I would rent a unit but rentals were hard to locate and more costly. Glad to get it accomplished. My neighbor got a new roof and that’s what finally motivated me. I figured I’d be picking up their nails in my yard too as roofing nails fly all over the place. I recommend this unit as it is lightweight. Thanks in reading my post. I wish you well.
