The GEARWRENCH original ratcheting wrenches combine the speed of a ratchet with the access and control of a wrench. They offer the ease of 5 degrees of movement to turn fasteners, versus 30 degrees on standard combination wrenches. The small Ratcheting box end Head design enables access to tight spots where a ratchet won’t fit. The open end allows for easier access on tough to reach spots, making jobs go faster and easier. This set is a great addition to any mechanic tools collection. Set Contents – SAE sizes: 1/4, 5/16, 11/32, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16 and 3/4 in, Includes metric sizes: 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 millimeter.
The Gearwrench 72 tooth ratcheting box end needs a minimal 5° to move fasteners vs. 30° for standard wrenches
Off-corner loading design on box end provides better grip and reduces fastener rounding
Pass-thru technology works down any length of threaded rod and long bolts
Thin head and beam provide greater access in confined work areas
Manufactured from alloy steel for better strength and longer tool life

Quality
Quality GearWrench set. I use them pretty heavily and they work as advertised. Plus GearWrench is a great company. Very useful for new technicians that do not have the money to spend on the bigger name brands off the tool trucks. Solid product.

Quality at low price
Okay so I was very skeptical about this brand which I believe is a Chinese manufacturer. Craftsmen was sold off from Sears to Lowes. I’m a lifetime craftsmen customer. However, the prices of craftsmen have gone up significantly but I needed these wrenches to change shocks on my Honda Fit. Shocks are a pain if you don’t have the correct tools. I had to use an Allen key socket on a ratchet along with a 14mm closed wrench end. The problem is the job would have taken forever having to lift and set, lift and set, the box wrench to remove the nut on the shock. This set with its boxed ratchet end made it simple and comfortable. I have to admit, these feel and work like quality tools I always expected from craftsman. Now craftsmen have the direction change leaver. These you have to turn around to switch direction which is fine. The ratchet is smooth, the sound leads you to believe its quality, and feels accurate with each click. Indeed I would recommend these after using them on my wife’s 2012 Honda Fit, rear shocks. Great value compared to others. Again I did my research and this Chinese manufacturer always came out on top on Youtube and now I know why. Only time will tell how long these will last but I can say, chances are, a life time.

Absolutely wonderful
Iâm a mechanic and these wrenches are dope. I use them all the time. I also very frequently put another wrench on em to increase the leverage to get really stuck on bolts loose and they still work great. For the price I definitely recommend

I had a pair of manual box wrenches that I’ve been using for years. Decided I wanted to get some ratcheting action in my workflow so I didnt have to manually place and replace a box wrench when tightening or loosening. This gear wrench set has been perfect. The ratcheting side has been very strong. So strong in fact that I’ve used a wrench extender to use it to apply torque without it slipping (i easily doubled the length of the wrench without any issue). The ratcheting may not be overly smooth or have very finely spaced teeth but it works very well. I’ve yet to have this set slip while using either the ratcheting or box end. Overall a great set that has been quality for me so far. And I can recommend to anyone in need of a set of ratcheting wrenches.

Buenos acabados, el largo es adecuado. La matraca se ve sólida. Según el segmento en que las uses, me parece un excelente set de llaves a un excelente precio. Todo llegó en orden. Satisfecho.
