These Scissors are BURLY!
I like to think of myself as a bit more than a typical household handyman. My “tool chest” runs the gamut of everything from 120V/12V to hydraulic applications and everywhere in between. Every household super hero MUST have a good, sturdy pair of scissors. That being said, thru trail and error, I found myself with these in hand and have never looked further. I definitely abuse them and they have yet to let me down. From cutting 10ga copper wire to gliding thru 9mil Visqueen effortlessly. I have 4 pairs dispersed throughout my Man Glitter Cave and all have a purpose yet still handle everything.

Good for 1lb MLV and dynamat
I’m installing dynamat and mass loaded vinyl soundproofing in a car which requires a lot of rounded cuts. These shears make cutting curves in the 1/8″ thick MLV a breeze and the dynamat may as well be paper. The finger holes are also large enough to easily be used with gloves on. The shears are very sturdy and I expect them to last a long time. $20 seems reasonable for a tool that lasts

I wish that I had added these to my tool box decades ago. My immediate need was to cut up some 30 gauge galvanized duct pipe. Using these snips was fantastically easy — I even managed a few curving cuts.Although I did not find an gauge rating on the AMZ web page for these snips, the package specifies 22 gauge. Plenty adequate for my needs.A quality product which should last a lifetime. Forget the cheap stuff.

Good not great
These are nice scissors but definitely not the best imo. I purchased two pairs of heavy duty scissors, this one and a no name pair from taiwan. While they both cut well it took quite a bit of muscle to cut with the fiskars pair as opposed to the others which cut like butter with almost no force at all. Also they are not nearly as comfortable in the hand as the others which have a super rubbery grip on both sides of the handle and the shape is much more form fitting to the hand. Still a very nice strong, well made pair of scissors though.

Excellent heavy duty quality
These are made of good material and assembled well. I love the large size. I can use my whole hand, which makes cutting easier. I used these to cut shingles and itâs like cutting butter. Itâs a great product, and at $20 a great value!

Great for cutting thick card board, rope & really any over zealously packaged parcel. Large handle opening makes it easy to grab & get to work. Latch keeps these closed when not in use & is easy to close one handed.

This is a great tool. I used these in the garden to cut chicken wire, that I used around my raised garden beds to keep the squirrels out of my raised beds. It was like using a pair of scissors to cut chicken wire. The handle is very comfortable and the blades are slightly serrated so they easily cut a sheet of wire. It made my job alot easier and not hard on my hands. Good product for the price. I’ll buy again if needed.
