Great little impact.
Iâm a Dewalt fan and have almost a complete line to cordless tools. I was needing a small 3/8â impact and snagged this one. Iâm very impressed with the long term results and durability! Size is spot on, weights is a bit on the heavy side but makes the tool feel durable. Excellent torque performance, great value and functional. What more can you want.

Compact, powerful, lightweight, good battery life.
I wanted a “do it all” tool that I could use for general mechanics work, something that would be small enough to fit into tight places but powerful enough for basically anything I would run into on passenger cars and trucks. This tool meets all my requirements. Its small, lightweight, powerful, and has good battery life and the LED lights are actually decent and since they are mounted in a ring around the output shaft they actually provide light to the workspace unlike the bottom mounted lights I have seen on other tools.I can verify the advertised torque output I replaced the front struts on a F150 and the lower strut bolt has a factory torque spec of 350ft/lbs a 1/2″ drive pneumatic impact was struggling to break it loose, this tool had no problems doing the job despite the rust it broke the bolt loose like it was nothing and did the same thing on the other side. I was using the small 2AH batteries on that job and one was plenty for the lugnuts, and all the bolts required to remove and replace the front struts. I purchased the larger 5AH batteries and have used them to do a number of jobs and as long as you have two batteries I cant conceive of doing anything where you would run out of power. In all I am very pleased with this tool and since I don’t work on heavy equipment the 450lbs of breakaway torque and 350ft/lbs in the other direction is more than enough.

My new favorite power tool
I can’t tell you how much I like this tool. It is super great for automotive work, way better than an “Impact Driver”. What is the difference you ask?I’m a big DeWalt guy and purchased and Impact Driver for use around the house. It is great for assembling things and driving in screws to wood. When I tried to remove some rusty bolds under my car it failed miserably. After a little research I learned that this Impact DRIVER has much more torque but a little slower speed and is more designed for this application. This is the best power tool I have ever purchased. I never would have removed the rusty bolts under my car without it. It also can take the lug nuts off my car in about 20 seconds. I can change a tire in no time. Even with the right adapter, I use it on a scissor jack and can lift the car. I think the best thing about this tool is that I can now get lug nuts off myself. My favorite feature is the selectable torque. I use the “1” setting to install anyting automotive and then use a torque wrench to make sure it is the correct value. And, because this is the Atomic sub-brand it can get in tight places.Well worth the money. This is a winner.

Another quality Dewalt tool
We have most of the 20v max Dewalt tools. So we had to get this one to add to our Dewalt collection. As most Dewalt 20v max tools, it’s very well made and works great. It has a lot of power for it’s size. The only thing I could complain about is it having a hog ring instead of a detent pin. Some sockets feel loose and floppy on it and some are very hard to put on and take off.I ended up putting a 1 inch extension on it. I put a small piece of bushing material in it so it’s on there really good and tight. So now it’s much easier to put sockets on and off.Either way it’s a great tool that I highly recommend and I would buy again.

Perfect for tight spaces!
I’ve steered away from cordless tools, because I’m terrible about recharging but the battery life on this is fantastic! I’ve used it several days in a row with no power loss. I really like that it’s compact and able to get in tight spaces easily. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I have big hands and I keep accidentally hitting the reverse button when gripping it. That’s the trade-off for compact power and I’ll take it over a bulky corded drill any day!

Powerhouse Performance in a Lightweight Package!
I recently upgraded to the Dewalt DCF923 and have been nothing short of amazed by its performance. As a long-time user of the trusty DCF894, I was a bit hesitant to switch, but the DCF923 has exceeded all of my expectations. What immediately stood out to me was the fact that the DCF923 packs the same amount of power as my DCF894, while being an entire pound lighter! This lightweight design makes a significant difference in my comfort and productivity. It’s my no.1 choice now!!Tackling tough jobs like undoing axle nuts is a breeze, thanks to its surprisingly incredible torque output. In summary, the Dewalt DCF923 is a must-have for anyone looking to upgrade their current setup.Don’t hesitate to invest in this impressive tool and buy from reputable sellers such as The TOOL GUY who offers genuine products and a prompt and attentive customer service.
