Pretty good but has some flaws
It works well for longer knives but short ones (like a paring knife) which don’t have enough blade weight tend to tip over. The honing rod and shears compartments are great. I just wish the whole thing was a little more bottom-heavy to feel more secure when adding and removing knives. if you go too quick you can make the whole thing move.

Nice Addition To My Regular Knife Block
I finally have a place for all of my precision knives. My existing knife block is great for the set of knives that came with it, but this cool knife block lets you store any width blade in its slots. Now I can keep my fine Damascus blades from banging around and getting kicked or damaged. I love the efficient design of this knife block and that it doesn’t take up much counter space. Good purchase!

We bought this after throwing out a knife block with the âunique flex rod systemâ (iykyk). This is a great knife block if you buy your knives a la carte. The longest blade, 9.25 inches, barely touches the bottom, however it hasnât damaged the tip. We have 8 knives (bread, carving, 2 pairing, 4 butcher/santoko of varying size) which all fit with room for more. You can also store scissors and a sharpener.
