Sharp, accurate and easy to use Snippers
I really like my new snippers! I’m a quilter and they really help with trimming threads during sewing. Much quicker than using scissors. The comfortable fit and the loop for a finger make them fit my hand perfectly. One other comment. The item description said they were Red. If it matters to you, the color of the snippers I received were closer to orange than red. I don’t care but some folks might care.

  2. Dave Londeree

    Good tool’s
Very nice nippers that are easy to use and very sharp.

  3. Thomas Rinker

nice and precise for fly tying
These are a nice pair of scissors and I use mine for fly tying. They are good enough to be precise but not on super small flies. The thumb hole could be a smidge bigger just b/c I have sausage fingers, but I like these and they work pretty well. My buddy saw mine and he bought a pair of his own.

  4. Julia O

    Excellent nippers, good value
These nippers cut thread and fabric easily, right to the tips. Easy to open, use and close for storage that protects the blades–which can be replaced. They have place of honor in my sewing box.

  5. Vicki Cooke

    Great snips
These are awesome little snips. The only complaint I have is the lack of a true cover for the blades. They do come with a piece of clear tubing, but it can be a pain to put back on and it is open which is an issue if there are small fingers around.

  6. David

    Great Quality
These are super sharp for snipping thread and cut clean.

  7. Donna D.

    Love these!
I have 2 pairs of these and they are great at my machine for clipping thread. It was a good buy for my sewing stash. I use them every day.

  8. Beebee

    Sharp!
Very sharp. Plastic body has more substance to it, easier for arthritic hands compared to those narrow types. Very please with it would buy again.

  9. Hildegard von Bingen

Decent weight, good action, and sharp. Perfect to keep next to sewing machine.

When these arrived, I was happy with the way the snips looked and felt. The plastic does not seem cheap, and the blades are replaceable. However, I noticed there is a gap between the blades, and the plastic bends slightly while snipping, which makes them unable to cut fabric. I was clipping curves in 2 layers of VERY lightweight rayon jersey, and the snips did not snip about 1/2 of the snips the first time. I had to re-snip to get the fabric to cut, and sometimes I had to snip 3-4 times the same cut!And most of the snips did not even go to the end of the blade, which is the whole purpose of getting thread snips – they are supposed to use the entire blade to cut!! They cut thread fine .. but it’s thread ..So if all you’re using the snips for is cutting thread, you’ll be just fine. If, like me, you need them to also trim seams and clip curves, don’t buy these. However, Amazon’s return policy is excellent, and I am happily returning these without any hassle.
