  1. Mark Maupin

    Great tool
Worked perfectly for cutting copper tubing in a tight spot.

  2. Brett

    Great for tight spaces
Used this to cut existing steel fuel lines in tight places where a typical cutter would work. Since there isn’t as much leverage on the adjusting screw and the general tool, it takes a little longer to cut, but well worth the extra effort.

Good Quality and Worked Really Well
I’m very happy with the purchase and they worked as intended. Two comments addressing reviews from others:1) Yes, it’s made in China. That’s clearly stated and should be no surprise to anyone. Not sure why someone would give it a poor rating just because of country of origin. If it works, it works.2) For those claiming that it was too hard to turn the knob: these tube cutters are not intended to completely cut the tube in only one rotation. You have to tighten to you have sufficient resistance, rotate, then repeat until the tube is finally cut; takes about 30 seconds. I feel a lot of people give poor ratings to tools in general because of user error.

  4. Jackson

    Small but completes the job
Good quality and works great. Does the the job.

  5. Steven E.

    Perfect size
I needed to cut a brake line next to the frame of the Jeep, this was perfect and made a clean cut with no issues

  6. Bryan

Won’t cut a metal pipe, should be “zero” stars
I remember when Craftsman was a name you could trust, this isn’t worth the price paid. When trying to cut a metal pipe for a flag pole, this “cutter” was unable to do the job.

    Works great!
Cutting 1/4” steel brake line under vehicle in limited accessibility. Glad I chose this item.

  8. DougV

    It cuts
It provides a clean and sharp cut

  9. Rudy

Pequeño pero poderoso cabe en mi bolsillo y corta muy bien no trae navaja de repuesto espero y vendan por ahí pero vale la pena

  10. SimontheBeetle

I bought it to repair my golf clubs, and it was (is) very useful. Highly recommend!

  11. Max

I tried to use this Craftsman tubing cutter to cut 3/8″ metal fuel tubing. However on each rotation the cutter would simply corkscrew along the tube. I used to do this easily with my even smaller K&S Engineering tubing cutter that lasted over 3 decades, however it was made of plastic finally broke a week ago. I pushed out the pins of the two cylindrical rollers and swapped the orientation of one of the rollers on the new tubing cutter. This improved things a bit and at least helped me complete my cuts, but only with difficulty. Selling a misaligned tool is unacceptable for Craftsman.
