Do not work properly
I own a sheet metal business. This brand always worked well in the past. Received my pair this time and they do not spring open making use quite a task.

Sharp
Good snips for roofers. Stays sharp.

Iseless
These snips are virtually useless unless you get off sets. Malco used to be the standard. Not anymore. They now use all cheap materials. Look for new brand but stay away from Malco.

Other than that they are great.
These cutters have been just what I was looking for. They cut clean and time will tell how long they stay sharp. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is one of the three pair I purchased is sticky. Other than that they are great.

POOR QUALITY
I have owned and operated a gutter company for 25 years. Marco normally has good quality tools but in the past few years they have gotten noticeably cheaper. Caution these snips will only last you about two months before you have to order another pair.

Good quality

My job is to work with sheet metal all day every day. These are the best snips I’ve used yet and the biggest reason is that adjustment bolt. The adjustment bolt I am talking about is the bolt and nut that holds the two cutting blades together. All other snips I’ve used have a bolt that slides through both blades and threads into a lock nut. You are relying on the friction of the lock nut to the bolt to keep the correct adjustment. Every time you have to squeeze these snips hard, it puts too much pressure against the nut and ends up spinning it.These snips: the bolt slides through the first blade and threads into the second blade. Now you can tighten the nut down to that second blade. Your blades will never come loose again.

snips rusted after 1 month in closed took bag. Wasnât exposed to wet conditions. Practically seized. Cutting power not there. I have greens by Malco that are amazing. Not sure what happened to these guys.
