Wasn’t sure what to expect, but the tool works great, as described and is made of metal with rubber coated handle. Nice and heavy quality feel. Cuts wires without cutting the copper braids. Would definitely recommend.

I always wanted a wire stripper that makes it easy to prep wires. Finally purchased one at a reasonable price since I do not work with wires on a regular basis. Good quality, easy to use and a good, reasonable price. A great addition to my toolbox.

Fair price vs quality
These auto stripping crimpers are of decent quality. The stripper tension and length are adjustable. I was using these on 16 ga wire with silicone covering and had a difficult time at the shortest setting. I tested them on 14 ga wire with standard (more rigid) covering and they worked great. I think the silicone covering is too soft and difficult for the tool to grasp properly.The crimper section is a little less than ideal. It seems common with cheaper crimpers that when you try to crimp the terminal the handles want to flex and make it difficult to get a good crimp. This was on plastic covered terminals. When testing on bare terminals they worked well.They aren’t top quality but I think they are worth the price vs pro level tools. They get the job done for sure.

It strips off the wire casing perfectly
I used these to connect my plant light cords together when I cut out the timer. I wanted the lights to be controlled at the plug and the wires are very thin. This cut only the outside and none of the fine wires on the inside. I love this thing!!!

This makes wiring things so much easier. I would have killed for this when I was doing most of my car speaker wiring but works great on everything Iâve tried it on. Get this and save the hassle.

You can use this one tool to replace at least 3 others. It works way better than I expected and seems like it will likely last a long while before any of the parts give out.

Amazing quality
Iâve got fairly large fingers and am taking electrical engineering classes, stepping the smaller wires was quite difficult until I got this. It is a wonderful addition to my tool collection and Iâm sure it will get loads of use.
