    Husband likes it!
Bought this for my husband for Father’s Day and he really likes to use it. Product was easy to assemble and stores easily. He is able to work on projects in our apartment and not ruin my dining table anymore. The clamps are a definite plus so things don’t slip away.Perfect fit for a New York apartment. It is strong and stable and versatile.

    Great deal
This is a great workbench. Folds away great and is very easy to store. Set up is easy and serves all purposes for my jobs.

  3. FAB

It’s fine, but could be better
Arrived in good shape with all the parts. I knew the directions were not the best. They are lacking, but took the challenge on (without going to YouTube for videos) and was successful. The pin install for the two cranks stinks and the overall workmanship of the parts and components to the bench are just ok. Everything seems to work. Hope it is durable.

What’s with the complaints? This thing is great
I hesitated before buying the WM225 because several reviewers complained it was hard to put together, poorly made (somebody wrote that it had sharp edging requiring that you wear safety gloves for protection!), or generally low quality. Nonsense. Assembly is a breeze, no harder than a LEGO set. True, the instructions are in the form of diagrams, not text, but there’s nothing confusing or odd about them. There are no rough or sharp edges, and I’m completely satisfied with the quality for the price. The table is useful, strong enough for all my odd jobs, and perfectly sturdy. The sole tricky part is getting the pins into the crank handles (to hold them onto the long screws that work the vice); know this from other reviews, I grabbed two 2″ cotter pins and used them to affix the handles instead. Fine, that means the product cost me an extra ten cents. Finally, there was some moaning about putting parts in backwards and needing stickers or something to tell you how to do it right the first time: if you can follow the simple directions correctly you will be perfectly fine. Again, no harder than a Lego set. Take the plunge, you’ll find this a very handy and sturdy mini work bench.

The name , bleach and decker
Easy to put together. Works very good. Better than the tailgate on my pickup.

    Nice tiny work bench
Does what I need it to do, holds work pieces securely and takes up little space when folded away. The one I have isn’t level but a single small block of wood under one of the feet made it sturdy. The two board pieces can meet if you flip the board farthest from handles around – it will still securely sit in the bench and still be usable as a vice. The instructions are not the best, there was one diagram that was misleading – find a video of someone assembling it if you get confused. But assembly doesn’t take very long and you only need to do it once.

Packaged well, still bent on arrival due to the use of weak components
After seeing this on sale, I decided to purchase it. The original workmate that I received from my dad worked very well and still sees use today after 20+ years. This version of the product is nothing like it’s previous versions. Honestly, I wouldn’t pay 20 bucks for it.The metal for the frame is very thin and will not stand up to normal use for very long. The frame was bent but I was able to get it somewhat back in place in order for it to somewhat function. The wood top is thin but I think adequate to use as a table top for projects.the clamping mechanism is cheap, plastic parts that will break easily. The pictorial instructions are not very clear and the pictures are pretty small and don’t show the detail needed to orientate the pieces they way they need to be to assemble. If you didn’t have experience with one already I can imagine it would be very confusing. The cawls are light plastic and 3 of the 4 did not fit into the holes on the boards requiring light sanding to smooth them out and allow them to be fully inserted. I do not recommend purchasing this product. It is very cheaply made in all areas.

did not know they still made these
After seeing a quite derelict B&D portable workbench out on the curb, I went to the website and was pleasantly surprised to discover they still make these. I immediately ordered one and it arrived soon after. We had 2 of them at the high where I taught and oversaw the building of the sets for the drama dept. These workbenches were handy to have, sturdy, and stored easily.

  9. Miguel M.

fue facil de armar y cumple completamente con lo que dice los materiales de buena calidad y muy practico lo volvería a comprar

  10. Mark Livsey

Just be mindful that the rods and the blocks they screw into are threaded left handed which will likely catch people out. Other than that, very pleased with the item.

  11. Ramon L.

    Es una herramienta genial.

  12. El producto es tal como se ve en las imágenes mostradas y acordé al precio.

Me gustó que es útil y práctica, aún que no es muy cómoda ya que está muy pequeña e inestable.

  13. Fernando

    Me encanta para trabajos caseros
