Good bang for the buck
They say first impressions are very important so this vise arrived in badly bruised and torn box. Inside, the pieces all appeared to be there. But the mounting template had a hole in the center that had been “hammered” out by the shipper’s transportation. Better packaging might have prevented this but might also have increased the price. Bottom line here is the metal parts arrived in good condition. This thing is heavy and seems to be solidly built. The moving parts seem to operate smoothly and properly and not loose or wobbly. It has a nice paint job. There are a few things that separate it from a high quality high end commercial professional vise. One of them is price. This vise has the appearance of normal size six inch vise but sitting on the same size base as a three inch vise. So it has a smaller than normal base for it’s nominal size. Ten years from now I’ll probably be able to attest to it’s quality and usability but for now, this thing is a horse, very well made for it’s price and I expect it to serve me well as a home garage tool. Comes with attached metal jaws and set of soft jaws. Also included mounting bolt set. It would be wise to mount this on a solid work bench corner such that you could put a long workpiece in the vise and sitting on the floor without interfering with the side of the workbench.

Great value – Base fits on a winch plate
If youâre looking for a vice this size, this is the best value (very good quality and lowest price) I could find. Itâs built with high quality steel and has basic features. I installed mine on a winch plate and used a hitch extender. This enables me to use my truck hitch as an outdoor cutting and grinding station to keep all the debris out of my garage.

EXCELLENT VICE IN THIS PRICE RANGE
VERY SOLID. I NEEDED LONGER FASTENERS TO MOUNT IT TO MY BENCH, BUT SIMPLE ENOUGH TO BUY THOSE. THE EXTRA JAWS INCLUDED ARE A NICE TOUCH, THEY ATTACH WITH MAGNETS TO THE VISE. THEY SENT ME TWO OF THE SAME, INSTEAD OF A LEFT AND A RIGHT. THEY SENT ME THE CORRECT SET WITHIN A WEEK OR TWO ONCE I CONTACTED THEM. RECOMMENDED.

I am really pleased with this purchase. The vise is rock solid for griping work, base pivoting and locking, and the machined anvil. Having used it for a couple of months now I can honestly say that, for the price you cannot beat this vice. The soft-jaws provided with the vice are very good, it hold items firmly and does not move or rotate in use (so long as screwed to the bench). a full 5***** from me.
